ELZA WINKLER was established
by Eiichiro Nakai as a Creative Director and Mao Sudani as an Executive Officer in 2014.
Brand concept is ‘Classic and Creative’.

Eiichiro Nakai

After graduating from Bunka Fashion College (Japan) and Bunka fashion Business College (Japan) he Joined Yohji Yamamoto as a Pattern Cutter.
After leaving Yohji Yamamoto he joined ‘ato’, a Tokyo collection, as the head Pattern Cutter.

He moved to the UK where he worked for Alexander McQueen. Whilst working at Alexander McQueen, Sarah Burton personally placed him in charge of the tailored jackets and dresses, entrusting him with their creation for the collections and Fashion Weeks. He was also in charge of producing garments for a special project, such as VOGUE.

After returning home in 2014, he established ELZA WINKLER.
ELZA WINKLER was selected for the 2015 Tokyo New Designer Fashion Grand Prix.
